Hamburg Hawks Hockey Registration for

House and MOHL players

 

 

Online registration is open for the 2021-2022 House, MOHL, and Travel Teams.

All players must have their 2021-2022 USA Hockey ID number prior to registering. Please visit https://membership.usahockey.com/ to obtain your new ID number.

All Travel Division Players 21-22 Season

This registration program is for Hamburg Hawks Travel players. Do not register here if already registered in a house league program. This will allow all players in house and travel programs to be entered into our database and receive news and information from the Hamburg Hawks Hockey Association. There is no cost for this registration. You must have your 2021-22 USA Hockey registration/Insurance number to proceed. (Note: Your new confirmation number will have the number "2" as the 4th digit)

Travel Coaches and Managers 21-22 Season

This registration program is for Hamburg Hawks Travel Team Coaches and Managers for the 2021-2022 season. This will allow all coaches and managers in travel programs to be entered into our database, placed on official rosters, and receive news and information from the Hamburg Hawks Hockey Association. There is no cost for this registration. You must have your USA Hockey registration/Insurance number to proceed. (Note: Your new confirmation number will have the number "2" as the 4th digit).

IP Initiation Program birth year 2016-2017

The Hawks IP (Initiation Program): Birth Years 2016-2017

The IP program is for players aged 4 and 5 years old. The program meets once a week on Saturday mornings at 9:00am and will have 24 sessions. IP players are true beginners, if they don’t know how to skate they will be taught. Coaches will focus on skill development in a fun atmosphere. Practice to game ratio will be approximately 3 to 1. Practices sessions are divided into stations such as forward, backward skating, stopping, etc. When games start they will be in a cross-ice or half-ice "pond hockey" format. For the 2019-2020 season. The cost is $150.00. The Hawks IP start date will be in October and end in Mid-March. In order to register, all players must have a new USA Hockey ID number for the 2021-22 season.

Mini-Mite Division birth year 2015

The Mini-Mite Division is for boys and girls 6 years old and born in 2015.

Mini-Mites: Birth Year 2015:

The Mini-Mite division is designed for 6-year-old players and is limited to 64 players. Mini-Mites practice twice a week, there will be 43 sessions. The Mini-Mite division is designed to build skills and practices in a fun atmosphere. Practices will utilize a station set-up developing different skating/hockey skills. The ratio of practice to games will be approximately 3 to 1. All games will be either cross-ice or half-ice. Mini-mites meet on Sundays at 10:00am and Thursdays at 6:00pm. The cost is $200.00. Mini-Mites will start in October and finish in mid-March. In order to register, all players must have a new USA Hockey ID number for the 2020-21 season.

Mite Josh Kuebler Division birth year 2013-2014

The Josh Kuebler Mite Division is for boys and girls ages 7 and 8 who are born in 2013 or 2014.

Mites: Birth Years 2013-2014:

The Mite division is named in memory of Josh Kuebler whose life was cut short at age 15 in a tragic hiking accident at Chestnut Ridge.  Josh loved playing hockey for the Hamburg Hawks.

The Josh Kuebler Mite Division consists of 7 and 8-year-old players. Mite teams will have 10 to 11 players per team and will be on the ice twice a week, practice on Saturday, and games on Sunday. For the first few weeks, they will practice a minimum of twice per week, then transition to a practice/game format.  All games will be cross-ice or half-ice games. Mite practices will have four teams on the ice per ice session. Ice times for Mites are on a rotating basis meaning they will vary each week. A several-week schedule will be provided. There will also be a round-robin “tournament” and championship game just like the older divisions to end the season. The cost is $450.00. The Mites start in October and end in mid-March. After the registration process ends, you will receive an email with your specific start time. HHHA mite teams will also participate once again in the WNYAHL Mite Jamboree program. In order to register, all players must have a new USA Hockey ID number for the 2021-22 season.

Squirt Birth year 2012-2012

Squirts: Birth Years 2011-2012:

The Squirt Program is for boys and girls born in 2011 or 2012. Squirt teams play full ice games. The Squirt program emphasizes teamwork, skating, puck handling skills, and having fun on the ice. Games will be held on Sundays. Most practices will be on Saturdays but there will be exceptions. There will also be skating clinics held throughout the season. Cost is $550.  The Squirts will start in October and run through mid-March. You will receive an email with your specific divisional start time. HHHA will once again participate with West Seneca, East Aurora and the Cazenovia Chiefs, in an Inter-Association Division with a Championship game to be played between the top two teams from each association. In order to register, all players must have a new USA Hockey ID number for the 2021-22 season.

Peewee 2009-2010

Peewees: Birth Years 2009-2010:

The Peewee Program is for boys and girls born in 2009-2010. The Peewee program emphasizes teamwork, skating, puck handling skills, and having fun on the ice. Games will be held on Sundays. Most practices will be on Saturdays but there will be exceptions. There will also be skating clinics held throughout the season. The cost is $550.00. The Peewee start date will be determined as we work through Covid-19 restrictions put upon youth recreational programs. We expect to start in October and run through mid-March. You will receive an email with your specific divisional start time. HHHA will once again participate with West Seneca, East Aurora, and the Cazenovia Chiefs, in an Inter-Association Division with a Championship game to be played between the top two teams from each association. In order to register, all players must have a new USA Hockey ID number for the 2021-22 season.

Bantam MOHL Birth year 2007-2008

Bantams: Birth Years 2007-2008

The Hamburg Hawks Bantam teams are for players born in 2007 and 2008. These are MOHL teams and will play in the WNYAHL league. The Hawks Bantam MOHL teams will be on the ice on average twice per week and the program is designed to continue to improve a player's hockey skills with an emphasis on teamwork, friendship, skating, and other hockey skills. Registration is first-come, first-serve and spots are limited. In order to register, all players must have a new USA Hockey ID number for the 2021-22 season. The cost for the Bantam program is $550.00.

Midget 16U MOHL for the 2021-22 season

Hamburg Midget 16 MOHL Team for the 2020-2021 Season:

The Hamburg Hawks 16U Midget MOHL team is for players born in 2004 and 2005. This is a house MOHL team, (Multiple Organization House League), and will play in the WNYAHL league. The Hawks 16U MOHL team will be on the ice on average twice per week and is designed to continue to improve a players hockey skills with an emphasis on team work, skating, and other hockey skills, including having fun. Currently we do not have a head coach for the 16U MOHL team. Volunteers are welcome to contact me if interested? (Dave McDermott 830-0908).

Space is limited to 18 skaters and 2 goaltenders and is on a first-come, first-serve. Registration will open on June 12th and the cutoff will be July 15th. HHHA needs to organize the 16U MOHL team organized ASAP so that we know if we have enough players for a team. Cost to play is $550.00 and goalies cost is $100.00.
