HOUSE, TRAVEL, and GIRLS Hockey programs...

House Hockey

The House division consists of separate age divisions ranging in ages from 7 to 18, and two instructional groups consisting of 4 to 6-year-olds.  8U and 10U teams play against other Hamburg teams within their division. The 12U, 14U, and 18U MOHL (Multi-Organization House League) divisions consist of teams that play against MOHL teams in other organizations.

No hockey or skating experience is necessary to participate in any of the divisions.  However, participation becomes more difficult in the older divisions (Pee Wee and above) without any experience.

The instructional groups have all of their ice times at the Town of Hamburg Ice Arena.  While the other divisions have home games and practices at The Town of Hamburg Ice Arena (Nike Base) and Leisure Rinks in Orchard Park.

Girls Hockey

The Hamburg Hawks provide Girls hockey in the 8U thru 19U divisions. Tournament-bound teams are made up of higher-skilled players and lead to state tournament play. Non-tournament bound teams are generally made up of girls who have played at least one year of House League hockey. Our teams compete against girls teams from other associations in addition to league playoffs and tournaments. The teams are members of the Great Lakes Girls Hockey League (GLGHL) www.glghl.com.   Coaches focus on providing superior instruction in hockey fundamentals with a competitive and fun-filled atmosphere.
