Hawks-Sabres Learn to Play
The Hamburg Hawks, in partnership with the Buffalo Sabres, are proud to announce their tenth season of LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY! This program is for beginners aged 4-9 who are not already registered for a hockey program
Learn to Play provides an affordable entry into hockey for children ages 4-9 years old.
Learn To Play registration includes:
- A complete set of hockey gear
- 6 weeks of on-ice instruction by experienced coaches
- A complimentary ticket to a select 2026-2027 Sabres home game (an email will be sent with ticket information).
We recommend prior skating experience. Being able to stand up and move around without any assistance is a good measuring point. This will ensure the best experience for your child during the program.
Created jointly by the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL). Learn to Play’s goal is to inspire youth and welcome more families into the hockey community.
